Advantages of Technology in the Classroom

As a future teacher in the 21st century, I realized how beneficial incorporating technology into the classrooms can be. Technology is touching almost every part of our lives, our communities, and our homes. Many are just beginning to explore the true potential technology offers for teaching and learning. Rather than a boring standard lesson plan, if teachers include technology, there would be an increase of engagement of students' learning abilities. Technology will change every single day. That's why as educators we have to stay updated on our techie skills and knowledge. Using technology in the classroom will only increase the students skills to prepare them for the future. The biggest benefit technology provides is making connections with other students, educators, and professionals from all over. To be completely honest, I am jealous of all the different opportunities children will have by growing up with technology integrated into their schooling!
